CTS Telecom sets new utility line across a river with the DTX Shoulder Shot throwline launcher

We got a call from Chris at CTS Telecommunications. His company was contracted by the local utility to set up a utility line across a river, spanning a distance of over 300 ft. He needed to get the job done ASAP. Would the DTX Shoulder Shot launcher be up to the job?

Given the distance, we recommended using our reel attachment, which uses lightweight fishing line to increase the total distance.

Here’s the resulting line landing on the far side of the river.
